Researchers of French and Indian academic institutions\R&D labs have been collaborating for the last few decades. The objective of the proposed workshop is to accelerate collaborations between the researchers from France and some Indian institutions (see below). This workshop is focused in multiple areas of applied physics and mathematics, which deal with fluid dynamical topics spanning theoretical, numerical and experimental aspects. Most importantly, we would focus on advanced scientific computing related to DNS /LES of flows and methods to handle big-data created by these methods of applied mathematics and many topics related to fluid mechanics (microfluidics, instabilities, multiphase problems, aerodynamics). The topics covered will be at advanced level and the proceedings of the workshop is planned to be published.
